Overview

Store Cleaning Associate at The TJX Companies, Inc. TJ Maxx Woodinville, WA location. Location: USA TJ Maxx Store 0574 Woodinville WA. This position has a starting pay range of $16.66 to $17.16 per hour. The full range of the position is $16.66 to $25.80 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment including scrubber and buffer; perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning of glass and windows.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Maintain all floor care cleanliness standards and the maintenance and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the Sales Floor, Backroom, Restrooms, and Associate areas.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies (including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End).
• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs and store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards; communicate accurately with management and Associates.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures, including Associate meal and break period policies.
• Participate in safety awareness to maintain a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Ability to multi-task and respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Team-oriented; able to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.
