Overview
The IT Support Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of AP's IT infrastructure. This includes providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, managing hardware and software deployments, and actively contributing to the company's cybersecurity posture. The role is highly collaborative and will support both office and field operations.

Responsibilities
- IT Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and onboarding/offboarding processes
- Track and document support tickets and resolutions
- Cybersecurity: monitor systems for threats and suspicious activity
- Assist with firewall, antivirus, and endpoint protection implementation
- Support vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Educate staff on cybersecurity best practices and phishing prevention
- Respond to incidents and assist with forensic investigations
- Systems & Infrastructure: help maintain secure cloud and on-premise environments
- Support VPNs, switches, wireless access points, and other network components
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of IT support experience, ideally in a construction or multi-site setting
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, MFA, endpoint protection)
- Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking - Intune
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Security+ or equivalent certification is a plus
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
