JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Arrive to work on time for shift and in uniform.
Greet and speak to all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
Ensure the tables are set to standards.
Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
Answers guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
Describes menu and daily specials, takes orders, serves food, and makes sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals.
Responsible for coordinating the entire station and communicating with front- and back-of-house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceed guest expectations.
Processes guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
Observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service, responds to additional requests, and determines when the meal has been completed.
Rings up bills and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier.
May assist bus person in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables.
Follow appropriate procedures for closing checks.
Maintains professional relationships with all coworkers.
Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information.
Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
Must inform management before leaving on break and before the end of every shift.
Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Adhere to all state and federal requirements regarding the sale of alcohol.
Adhere to all Health Department requirements.
Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company.
Any other duties as assigned by the company in order to operate the business most efficiently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Proven work experience as a server
Proven customer service experience
Familiarity with restaurant POS
Teamwork attitude
