Warehouse Associate - Express Job at Abacus Staffing in Millbury

Job Description: Picking, packaging, and pulling material. Shipping, receiving, and loading and unloading trucks.

Must Haves:

• 6 months recent warehouse/forklift experience.
• No more than three-month gaps in work history (unless a reasonable explanation).
• Read and understand material slips.

Qualifications:

• A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
• Forklift operator experience is required.
• Ability to bend, twist, and pull for an 8-hour shift.
• 50 lbs lifting capacity.
• Steel-toe footwear required.

Responsibilities:

• Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.

Job duties may vary and include positions such as Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate.

Comments for Suppliers: Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm with a half-hour unpaid lunch. Candidate must be flexible as hours could be adjusted, with an earliest start time of 6 am.
