Position

• Position: Accountant


• Location: Roseville, MN


• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Responsibilities

• The Accountants primary responsibility is supporting the Finance department in implementing and maintaining financial systems, analyzing, monitoring, reconciling and reporting financial data and ensuring application of sound accounting principles.


• Reconciles and prepares financial reports on a monthly basis, including balance sheet, income statement, and other reports.


• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.


• Assists with creating, implementing and applying sound accounting principles, policies, and procedures.


• Engages in day-to-day activities and participates in special projects as assigned.


• Collaborates with other accounting/finance staff.


• Assists with year-end reporting and review.


• Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital. Interprets current financial data and works with internal teams for analysis.


• Tracks fixed assets.


• Collects appropriate data for federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.


• Identifies and troubleshoots anomalies, recommends resolutions.


• Recommends improvements and/or procedural changes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• PDN/Healthcare experience preferred.


• Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and financial software.


• Exceptionally organized, multi-tasking, problem solving and communication and strong keyboard skills. A high level of initiative combined with a customer service mentality is also required.


• Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!

Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high quality DME and nursing services to children that are medically fragile since 1990. Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The majority of the clients we serve are ages birth through 21 years old and may require technologies such as a trach, ventilator or g-tube.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: The range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000 yearly, based on experience and qualifications.
