Overview

This role is a Senior Product Manager who balances business, technology and design priorities to deliver brand-defining product and service experiences. The Product Manager will work with the Product Owner to convert the vision into a level of detail that the Product Owner and Agile delivery team can then prioritize as epics and features. The Senior Product Manager is a thought leader amongst their team and is responsible for developing and maintaining a strategic delivery roadmap that supports business goals. This position requires strategic thinking and tactical execution, including analyzing data, solving problems, and working with delivery teams to drive demand, customer experience, and conversion. Note: In some Agile teams, there may be Product Owners/Managers from both the Business and the Tech side with joint accountability for the Agile team’s results. In rare instances, a Tech resource may fulfill responsibilities if business resources are unavailable. The ideal candidate will have experience with technologies relevant to the assigned area, using a Scaled Agile development framework. Responsibilities

Research, analyze, and learn about a target client segment to understand their financial needs. Maintain awareness of competition, industry trends, and changing customer needs; champion the business vision across the company. Define a differentiated product vision based on market analysis and data-driven recommendations. Collaborate with partners to align strategy and develop a delivery roadmap that supports business goals. Engage key stakeholders (lines of business, operations, and other functions) in planning and executing projects. Write epics and features to support the roadmap and prioritize across teams with partners. Set PI vision, priority, and definitions; work with product owners on prioritization and delivery timelines. Develop feature backlogs and lead discovery, prototypes/wireframes, usability studies, partner demos, and analytics planning. Obtain partner alignment and approvals including legal, compliance, security, and fraud as needed. Collaborate on pricing and ensure billing follows related processes. Create and track product metrics to inform strategy and roadmap; share analyses with partners. Coordinate with Readiness to create client and teammate facing content. Risk management: ensure PM lifecycle processes are followed, support security, risk, audit, and related items; lead risk presentations with PM/PO partners. Attend Agile ceremonies as applicable and mentor other Product Managers in practices. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; or related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience Ten or more years of banking, financial services, or other relevant work experience Five or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience Five or more years of leading cross-functional teams Previous experience working as a Product Manager Strong ability to plan strategically and execute tactically Experience defining/driving vision of experience programs and/or partnership-based programs Experience defining and delivering large-scale online initiatives Proven ability to use data analytics, research and testing methodologies to drive decisions Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority Comfortable managing concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills Experience delivering executive-level presentations Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in business, engineering, design, or technology field; banking or financial management education Experience with distributed teams (onshore/offshore) Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (or equivalent) Other Job Requirements / Working Conditions
