Senior Business Analyst, Hybrid (Boston, MA). Start date is September 4, 2025, for this 12-month contract position. Location-Type: Hybrid Boston, MA (3 days onsite). Compensation Range: $87.00 / hr W2. Responsibilities
Meet with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements. Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Translate business needs into user stories, technical specifications, and solution designs. Lead system integration initiatives involving APIs, middleware, and data exchange. Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with standards. Facilitate workshops and solution design sessions with cross-functional teams. Develop process flows, data mappings, and supporting documentation. Support QA and UAT activities by defining test cases and validating outcomes. Monitor system performance, recommend enhancements, and troubleshoot issues. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to BA practice development. Requirements — Must-Haves
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). 5 years' experience as an IT Business Analyst, ideally with enterprise systems and integrations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with business process modeling and requirements gathering. Knowledge of API integrations, middleware, and system interoperability. Understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, security). Skilled in requirements documentation, use cases, and solution design. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio / Lucidchart, and MS Office. Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice-to-Haves
Master's degree or MBA. Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, ITIL, or TOGAF. Experience with enterprise platforms like ServiceNow, Workday, Salesforce, or SAP. Familiarity with data tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices.
