We\'re seeking a future team member for the role of
"Production Services Application Support"
to join our
"Wealth Services Platform - Environment & Production Services"
team. This role is in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities
Experienced IT professional with proven record of application monitoring, support, troubleshooting, and post-implementation review Respond to, diagnose, and resolve service disruptions Work closely with developers on continuous integration / continuous delivery solutions Conduct root cause analysis for complex production issues Willingness to work evenings and weekends Monitor and review incoming alerts from automated monitoring systems or applications and work on resolution Respond to helpdesk queries and ensure that all service requests are addressed and resolved within SLAs Participate in PTO CAB meetings and review changes Maintain run books, SLAs, and application recovery documents up to date Escalate incidents to appropriate teams using standard procedures Lead investigations, resolutions, root cause analysis for incidents/problems and engage required groups including Infrastructure Support and Application Development teams as needed Identify opportunities to streamline and improve recovery solutions Identify repeatable manual tasks and lead automation efforts Support regulatory compliance or audit activities as needed Participate in Disaster Recovery / Data Center Rotation activities as scheduled Provide knowledge and training to new support personnel Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree is beneficial. 8-10 years of diverse IT experience required; securities/financial services exposure is a plus Hands-on experience in providing application support (L1/L2) Programming languages: C#, Java, Python; focus on maintaining programs and analyzing processing for help desk inquiries and issue fixes Database: Oracle & MS SQL UI: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Angular Cloud: AWS Big Data: Apache Hadoop Operating Systems: Linux and Windows Server Middleware: MQ Series & Kafka Source Code Repository: GIT File Transfer: FTP, SFTP, Connect:Direct (NDM), WinSCP Monitoring Tools: AppDynamics, Splunk, Moogsoft, Cloudprober, Prometheus, ThousandEyes Office workflow: ServiceNow Methodology: Agile and Scrum framework Benefits and culture
