You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. For GS-12: at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience defined as: Managing or coordinating building services programs (work orders, inspections, tenant requests, or special events); Using Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) to track work orders and service requests; Supervising staff or contractors in the delivery of building support services; Applying policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety, budget, or performance standards. For GS-13: at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience defined as: Overseeing a comprehensive building services program across multiple service functions (maintenance, inspections, emergency response, etc.); Supervising subordinate supervisors and staff, including union employees; Managing contracts, budgets, and resources to deliver building service programs effectively; Serving as a technical advisor and program manager for senior leadership, providing strategic analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and service delivery.
