Overview

IT Asset Management & CMDB ServiceNow Admin – SoFi Join SoFi to contribute to a high-visibility IT Asset Management (ITAM) program on ServiceNow. The ITAM & CMDB Admin will configure, maintain, and support the ServiceNow SAM, HAM, APM, and CMDB modules and support day-to-day operations. You will be a ServiceNow ITAM subject matter expert, working with internal teams across technology, cybersecurity, governance, and the business to support a best-in-class ITAM ecosystem that ensures compliance, optimizes costs, and supports SoFi’s growth. This is an opportunity to influence how technology management drives SoFi’s mission in a fintech environment.

What You’ll Do

Design, implement, and maintain the CMDB data model aligned with the business IT infrastructure and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

Develop and enforce governance policies to ensure CMDB data accuracy, completeness, and health; define data standards and manage relationship mappings between Configuration Items (CIs).

Configure and manage ServiceNow Discovery to automatically populate the CMDB with CI data.

Configure and maintain integrations with external systems to keep CMDB and ITAM data current.

Integrate with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to track and manage cloud-based assets.

Create and maintain CMDB health dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for IT and business stakeholders.

Automate the asset lifecycle—from procurement to deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning—using ServiceNow workflows.

Define processes and implement automation for asset reconciliation.

Design, configure, and maintain Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) modules; provide guidance and training to maximize their use.

Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to define requirements, validate results, and support production implementations (forms, business rules, automation, workflows, and integrations).

What You Bring

Minimum 5 years of SME experience in ServiceNow HAM Pro, SAM Pro, CMDB, and APM modules.

Background in financial services or regulated industries strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of ITAM best practices, hardware lifecycle management, and compliance frameworks.

Deep knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

ServiceNow Administrator certification (or equivalent ITAM certifications).

Analytical, data-driven problem-solving approach.

Commitment to continuous improvement and automation of manual tasks.

Experience building a highly complete and accurate CMDB.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

ServiceNow development experience is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

Compensation And Benefits The base pay range for this role is $105,600.00/yr - $198,000.00/yr. Final base pay offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
