Responsibilities
Have the ability to assist requesters in refining business requirement details to ensure the customers will receive the functionality requested.
Gain knowledge of our Service Now implementation to understand and identify cross-platform impacts of changes or enhancements being requested.
Design, develop, and implement solutions including custom applications, workflows, catalog items, and integrations to meet complex business requirements
Design and implement workflows to support business needs and increase automation
Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using integration spokes or custom APIs
Build and maintain custom applications following best practices to ensure performance and maintainability
Work within the Agile methodology to develop, build, and test alongside other developers to ensure the best product is delivered to requestors in a timely manner
Work with implementation partners or internal project teams to implement new modules as business needs evolve
Conduct regular ServiceNow version upgrades to ensure we remain compliant and supported by the vendor
Key Skills, Requirements, and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant technical field
Service Now Certified Application Developer.
At least 5+ years’ experience working with the ServiceNow platform, preferably across SPM, ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, and HR modules
Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices
Proven experience with integrating ServiceNow with other applications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
