As a Procurement Manager reporting to our Supply Chain and Procurement Team Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders across Engineering and Corporate functions to deliver goals related to external spend and partnerships with strategic suppliers. You will be a member of the Supply Chain and Procurement team at Woven by Toyota.
Responsibilities
Work synergistically with team members to strengthen the Procurement and Supply Chain organization in Woven by Toyota U.S. and U.K.
Own the assigned scope to manage the Contingent Workforce
Design, implement, and manage the contingent workforce strategy aligned with organizational goals
Manage supplier relationships and optimize the supplier panel
Enhance collaboration with business owners, Legal/IP, and HR to build a compliant and efficient contingent workforce framework
Manage and improve Vendor Management Systems (VMS) with support from internal stakeholders including the Corporate IT team
Use data-driven insights to identify operational challenges and lead process optimization initiatives
Negotiate contractual agreements with suppliers at competitive terms, including IP rights, liability, and payment terms
Support the Team Manager in developing Procurement and Supply Chain strategies aligned with each business unit’s goals
Ensure compliance with Woven by Toyota policies by effectively communicating and educating business-unit members
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors/Masters degree in related fields
8+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or strategic negotiation roles
Experience in complex negotiations of contractual agreements with suppliers
Deep understanding of the High-tech Silicon/Semiconductor industry
Experience in driving RFPs/RFQs as a Procurement/Supply Chain member
Strong knowledge of sourcing/purchasing and Supplier Relationship Management
Proven ability to create, track, analyze, and report metrics in a results-driven environment
Experience using procurement software to enable a smooth procure-to-pay process with Finance and stakeholders
Excellent internal and external stakeholder relationship management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills with ability to communicate with executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years in autonomous vehicle or software industry; contingent workforce experience is a plus
Passion for technology and mobility
Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a diverse environment
Strong supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience procuring automotive software, contingent workers, facilities, and IT-related goods
Japanese language skills are a plus
MS/MBA degree
What We Offer For positions based in Palo Alto, CA, base pay ranges from $119,000 to $195,500 per year. Your base salary is one part of total compensation, which includes incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. Total compensation depends on skills, experience, location, and level.
