Location: Anywhere in Country EY's Analytics and Data team is seeking a Master Data Management Manager focusing on helping our clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. This role demands a seasoned professional with an ability to define a master data management design complemented by a solid track record of system delivery. The individual should be ready to guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies. The opportunity involves designing and applying comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of data assets, performing maturity assessments on data management capabilities, advising on tools and roadmaps, and articulating information strategies that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
Lead workstream delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Engage with clients daily, identify opportunities for additional services, and manage engagement economics. Provide direction to your team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative solutions. Develop solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software for key data domains (e.g., customer, vendor, finance, materials). Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Manage project status and deliverable completion while ensuring effective risk management. Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy (data quality, data catalog, master data management, analytics use cases, AI/ML readiness, ERP/CRM alignment). Implement data integrity assurance using data quality tools and processes. Collaborate on source-to-target mappings and BRD interpretation with system analysts. Lead design, implementation, and optimization of data management solutions (e.g., Informatica) aligned with business objectives and governance goals. Execute data migration readiness assessments and document technical specifications aligned with BRDs. Lead multiple engagements, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction. Architecting, pipeline building, RFP responses, solution development, and workshops as part of project execution. Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 8 years of direct involvement with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM. Experience leading delivery teams in data governance and data management implementations. Knowledge of industry trends and ability to articulate these to customers. Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS and Azure). Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to lead and manage change, with a track record of delivering complex projects. Demonstrated expertise in Data Privacy and Master Data Management, with an understanding of Data Governance principles and Enterprise Strategy. A valid drivers license in the US; willingness to travel internationally as needed. Educational Background
Bachelors degree required (4-year) in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or related field. ERP implementation experience including SAP MDG as a component. Preferred/Additional Qualifications
Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff. Strong network within the data management/analytics industry and ability to apply emerging technologies to solve real-world challenges. Inclusive leadership that values diverse perspectives. What We Offer
