Overview
The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, day-to-day staff management, and guest satisfaction. The GM should be an ambassador for the brand and the hotel, providing leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of DHM service culture, maximized operations, and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of hotel operations with demonstrated knowledge in sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget and forecast management, rooms, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Provide vision, leadership, and strategy to inspire associates to deliver exceptional service and drive financial success; coach and develop teams to perform at their best.
Enable innovation and drive results by executing sales and marketing campaigns, managing dynamic revenue, and maintaining strong financial controls to improve profitability.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Previous General Manager experience is essential.
Food and Beverage experience is a plus.
Strong and successful owner relations partnerships.
Ability to create and develop a dynamic team.
Local market knowledge is preferred.
Physical Demands
Regularly stand, walk, and talk or hear.
Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or phones.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently up to 50 pounds.
