Certification Systems Engineer (Experienced, Senior, or Principal) – Everett, Washington. The Boeing Company / The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Applicant & Safety Excellence team is seeking Certification Systems Engineers to join our team in Everett, WA. The Applicant Excellence team leads the effort to strengthen the applicant capability across BCA functions/disciplines/programs to drive independence and high-quality applicant products. The team’s mission is to cultivate a culture of compliance and excellence among all BCA applicants, ensuring every individual is equipped with the knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of certification showing of compliance and FAA regulations. The team works in an autonomous environment using the engineering problem solving method to accomplish systems-level solutions. Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and have creative/visionary skills to influence BCA cross-functional leadership toward the future of Boeing, enabling an independent, knowledgeable applicant in the full certification value stream. Identify, investigate, propose and execute solutions to solve cross-functional/cross-program issues related to Applicant artifacts. Coach/mentor/teach those responsible for executing the applicant portions of certification processes (e.g., PRO-88, BPI-1375, BPI-3698, D6-36742, D6-82768-X, D6-84977, etc.). Partner with Certification Tools and Certification Process owners for changes to reach future-state applicant capability objectives. Partner with Safety and Airworthiness (SAW) roles and certification focal points in engineering for integration and two-way communication of system issues and subsequent system changes. Reduce interference between the Applicant and Organization Delegation Authorization (ODA) members to enable respect and separation of responsibilities. Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. 7+ years of engineering experience in a function or program. 3+ years of engineering experience executing work related to the Applicant. Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

Experience within the certification value stream. Experience showing compliance. Systems thinker capable of data-based engineering proposals and forecasting long-term impacts. Ability to work in ambiguity and autonomously. Experience investigating and solving complex technical or regulatory issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills with audiences including FAA representation, ODA leadership, E-UM & PA, Program & Functional Leaders, Cert Leaders, SC&P Leaders and SAW. Experience developing presentations and presenting to multiple levels of an organization. Other Information

Pay Summary (Range by Level): Experienced (Level 3): $104,550 - $141,450 Senior (Level 4): $128,350 - $173,650 Principal (Level 5): $157,250 - $212,750 Relocation:
