The Regulatory Administration & Airworthiness team is seeking a Certification System Engineers (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our team in Everett, Washington. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Certification Engineers. The mission of the Regulatory Administration & Airworthiness Enterprise Certification Processes team is to develop, implement, and oversee certification processes that ensure the compliance and safety of all of Boeing's products. Our team of experienced engineers and technical analysts use expertise in systems engineering and problem-solving to navigate regulatory requirements and develop and guide the certification processes. Our core areas of Change Classification Processes and Certification Project Processes are supplemented with expertise in Applicant Development and overall Certification Systems Integration. Our team provides training, capability kits and support for these processes for execution by our customers. Position Responsibilities: Lead/Contribute to cross-functional teams resulting in resolution of technical issues Coordinate technical messaging and partnering with the FAA on regulatory issues Develop strategic action plans for changes to certification processes and execute those plans through completion Have/Develop technical aptitude to enable execution of process/procedure documents (BPM, BPIs, D6s, D950s, etc.) Contribute to root cause corrective action plans for development and execution of noncompliance's, voluntary disclosures, informal corrective actions, formal corrective actions, etc. including reviewing/researching processes, design practices, analysis, conducting root cause analysis, and identifying/owning corrective actions and corrective action plans Working knowledge of Boeing's Organization Delegation Authorization (ODA) procedures manual Ensure proper coordination across products, platforms and functional areas to promote culture of compliance to requirements and application of procedures and FAA guidance This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Everett, WA site. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 3+ years of experience working on aerospace certification projects 3+ years of experience in developing, contributing and/or maintaining processes, policies, and procedures Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Senior: 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience working across the certification value stream. Experience working in International Type Validation and/or Operational Certification Experience with certification processes Boeing uses to comply with 14 CFR 21.93, 21.95 and 21.97 Systems thinker capable of making engineering proposals based on data analysis and forecasting wide reaching and longer-term impacts Experience developing presentations and presenting to multiple levels of an organization Experience investigating and finding solutions to complex technical or regulatory issues Experience recognizing and balance conflicting priorities Strong technical writing abilities Strong presentation skills Experience writing, reviewing, or approving Certification plans Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Summary Pay Range (Mid-Level): $104,550 - $141,450 Summary Pay Range (Senior): $128,350 - $173,650 Applications for this position will be accepted until Sept. 30, 2025.
