Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Engineer with hands-on experience in configuring, deploying, and supporting routers, switches, and Ruggedcom networking equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom network infrastructure and demonstrate the ability to design, implement, and maintain reliable communication systems. Experience in Inside Plant (ISP), Outside Plant (OSP), and construction environments is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Configure, install, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and Ruggedcom devices in telecom environments. Support and maintain telecommunications infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions. Perform routine network maintenance, monitoring, and upgrades. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety practices, and project specifications. Document configurations, network diagrams, and project-related technical details. Provide technical support and issue resolution for telecom network components. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience with routers, switches, and Ruggedcom networking equipment. Strong understanding of telecom network design, protocols, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to Have Experience with Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) network infrastructure. Familiarity with telecom construction, permitting, and installation processes. Knowledge of fiber optics, cabling, and power systems related to telecom. Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Ruggedcom certifications). Seniority level
