Deputy Project Managers (Telecommunications)

to support mission critical programs for a variety of government agencies in

Manassas, VA . The team is seeking project leaders with a specialization in Telecommunications to support strategy, execution, project completion, and profit of multiple projects simultaneously. Clearance: Ability to obtain government clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) Location: Manassas, VA (100% on-site) This job opens for applications on 9/25/2025. Overseeing the design and implementation of integrated infrastructure and telecommunications systems. Creating and enforcing processes and controls to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Supporting the Superintendent and Engineering teams with project documentation, layout planning, and field office coordination. Supervising subcontractors involved in scope of work. Building and maintaining a resource-loaded project schedule using Microsoft Project. Organizing and leading project kick-off meetings (PKOM) and conducting key monthly project reviews (KPR). Projecting cash flow requirements and workforce needs throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborating with the project team to develop detailed budgets, including cost codes for foreman-level labor tracking Conducting research and compiling submittals, evaluating and pricing change orders, and preparing project estimates. Generating design/build estimates based on established design criteria. Engaging with clients to present proposals and detailed cost estimates. Provide development, training, & leadership to junior project managers, Field Superintendents & Trades personnel in relation to strategic planning and project completion. Assuring a timely completion of a project including the completion of punch-list items, the submittal of accurate as-built drawings, operation, and maintenance manuals. Responsible for the completion of all training and other administrative requirements of the contract documents. Monitoring project budgets to ensure positive cash flow and to maintain profitability. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Information Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering discipline with minimum 7+ years of experience in construction specific to Telecommunications & Security Systems OR a Masters Degree with 5+ years of related construction experience Must have proficient understanding of TelecommunicationSystems including Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling, CCTV, OSP & ISP Copper, along with DAS. Proficiency in the Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling Method and General Contractor Schedules. Extensive experience leading diverse teams & projects with construction budgets valued between $500K - $10M+ in Telecommunication Scopes. Minimum 4+ years of experience & established knowledge in complex markets on projects specific to Federal Aviation, & Government Airports, Higher-Education, Information Transit Systems. Required knowledge within construction low-voltage functions including self-perform contracting, field coordination efforts, maintenance of schedule & prioritization of deliverable deadlines tied to each specialty-trade simultaneously. Ability to utilize software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Accubid, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Compensation
