Senior Director of Product Management for Team-Member Products at Inspire will have responsibility to deliver a portfolio of technologies products that power 650,000+ team members servicing our guests across 30,000+ Arby’s, Baskin Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy Johns, and Sonic Drive-In restaurants.
This position will lead the team of product managers that own the short- and long-term roadmap for core store systems (e.g. point-of-sale, back-of-house systems); portals and applications (e.g. homegrown restaurant administrative portals, team member applications); hardware and peripherals (e.g. loss & prevention technologies, drive-thru technologies); and connected spaces (e.g. smart kitchen equipment).
Responsibilities
Lead defining future state Team Member experience; Identify breakthrough technologies to support the vision Oversee roadmap creation and execution by driving cross-functional processes Balance stakeholders at all levels of the organization through transparent communication, ensuring accountability from internal partners Build and manage critical 3rd party partnerships, and enable operationalization of technologies in collaboration with Inspire Tech Ops organization and restaurant operators Establish and reiterate internal processes and documentation to enable team operations and increase team effectiveness Build partnerships with IT counterparts to ensure coverage of forward-looking development, support of day-to-day operations, and support of critical issues Provide necessary product management support when addressing urgent situations that require a quick turnaround to ensure seamless business operations Work with finance partners to set and manage towards the capital and G&A budget Build effective teams by attracting talent, training employees, and developing high performers Education And Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field MBA or similar graduate degree preferred 15+ years of modern product management practices, agile methodologies, and test-driven development experience Understanding of B2C business; restaurant, hospitality, travel, and retail industry experience is a plus Passion for the restaurant industry and a strong desire to help shape the future at Inspire Brands with an entrepreneurial spirit Knowledge of the range of activities related to the product development lifecycle (e.g. opportunity identification, product discovery, project execution, and post-launch performance measurement and management) Fluency in understanding technical constraints and discussing tradeoffs between development and business teams, following agile delivery principles Strategic mindset, strong decision quality, and ability to lead data-driven discussions to drive alignment around prioritization and impact across a matrixed organization Ability to plan and align across a complex matrix organization, drive toward results, ensure accountability, and optimize processes Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to convey the needs of varied audiences Ability to select vendors for RFP, manage vendor relationships, and contractual terms Self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision while navigating ambiguities and complexities Experienced people manager with a proven record of building a high-performing team Inspire is a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 33,000 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC restaurants worldwide.
