Locations: Scottsdale, AZ / Dallas, TX Overview As the Director of Donor Engagement, you will report to the VP of Marketing and are responsible for shaping and managing the donor experience for ADF’s general donor file, and for collaborating closely with Development to ensure mid-level and major donor experiences are aligned and thoughtfully supported. Key Responsibilities Define and lead the donor experience strategy from first gift through the full donor lifecycle, including new, multi-year, second-year, and monthly donors. Develop and execute donor engagement strategies that drive long-term retention and increase donor lifetime value. Manage and optimize the department budget to achieve annual retention and revenue goals, collaborating with Data and Analytics teams to track key performance metrics, evaluate donor health, and report insights to the Executive Leadership Team. Campaign & Channel Oversight

– Lead the strategic integration of direct response campaigns across all donor touchpoints including direct mail, email, paid media, social media, telemarketing, and other digital platforms. Cross-Team Collaboration & Communication

– Partner with the Development Team to ensure that mid-level, major donor, and planned giving strategies are aligned with the broader donor experience; collaborate with Communications and Creative teams to develop compelling content and maintain brand alignment. Team Leadership

– Lead and mentor a team, fostering professional growth, innovation, and alignment with department objectives. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or related field required. 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing or fundraising, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated success managing multi-channel donor engagement campaigns and a significant marketing or fundraising budget. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a nonprofit environment. Pay & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
