Position: BI Architect
Location: Chicago, IL OR Irvin, TX (3 Days/Week Onsite)
Experience: 10+ Years
Looking for an experienced BI Architect to lead the design and execution of a Tableau to Power BI migration. The role involves defining architecture, ensuring data integrity, and enabling scalable, high-performance BI solutions aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities: - Lead the end to end migration strategy from Tableau to Power BI. Define and implement scalable BI architecture on Power BI and Azure. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure data model optimization, performance tuning, and governance. Guide development teams on best practices for Power BI design, DAX, and data visualization. Establish standards for dashboard migration, version control, and documentation. Conduct technical reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
Educational Qualifications: - Engineering Degree - BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc. Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
Mandatory skills: Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Tabular models, and Azure Data Services. Hands-on experience with Tableau and migration projects. Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and BI architecture. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience with Power BI Service, Row-Level Security, and workspace governance
