Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Power BI Architect
to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level business intelligence (BI) solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and data visualization , along with strong experience in
data architecture, ETL processes, and integration with cloud/on-premises data sources . This role requires both hands-on technical skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and insightful BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of
end-to-end Power BI solutions
for enterprise reporting and analytics. Architect
data models
and develop optimized
DAX calculations
for business KPIs and metrics. Define and enforce
Power BI governance standards
including security, workspace management, and deployment pipelines. Collaborate with business teams to
gather requirements
and translate them into scalable BI solutions. Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for
performance, usability, and scalability . Integrate Power BI with various
data sources
(SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, APIs, etc.). Provide
technical leadership
in BI strategy, best practices, and adoption across the organization. Mentor and guide junior developers and analysts in Power BI development and data visualization practices. Work with enterprise architecture teams to align BI solutions with
data strategy and governance frameworks . Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in
Business Intelligence / Data Analytics , with at least 4+ years in
Power BI architecture and development . Strong expertise in
DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling . Hands-on experience with
SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning . Solid understanding of
ETL/ELT processes
and integration with cloud/on-premises data platforms. Experience in
Azure ecosystem
(Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks) is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of
Power BI administration, governance, and security . Ability to communicate BI solutions effectively to both technical and business stakeholders. Good to Have:
Certifications such as
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
or
Azure Data Engineer . Experience with
other BI tools
(Tableau, Qlik, Looker) for comparative insights. Knowledge of
data warehousing concepts
and modern data lakehouse architectures.
