As a Contract Specialist, you'll play a key role in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating construction-related contracts. You'll support project teams, legal counsel, and procurement functions to ensure contracts align with business goals and risk tolerance.
???? Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of construction contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and service contracts Collaborate with legal, project management, and procurement teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation Support contract lifecycle management, including amendments, renewals, and closeouts Assist in developing and maintaining contract templates and playbooks Provide guidance on contractual obligations, terms, and conditions Track and manage contract-related documentation and deadlines
? Qualifications
Extensive experience with construction contracts (commercial, industrial, or infrastructure preferred) Strong understanding of contract law, risk allocation, and construction delivery methods Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and negotiation abilities JD is
not required , but legal education or paralegal experience is a plus Experience with contract management systems is a bonus
