Position: Construction Superintendent

Location: San Antonio, TX 78227

Work schedule: M-F, 8-5

Duration: Direct Placement

Salary: 90,000 – 110,000

Must Haves:

  • 15+ years of construction experience
  • Proven ability to run large-scale projects ranging fro 2-5 Million in value
  • Proven ability to manage crews comprised of 5–6 trades and 2–5 crew members per trade
  • Experience with municipal projects, K-12 projects, and / or MEP renovations (electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
  • Proficiency in construction software: AutoDesk Build and Procore
  • Ability to create issues, annotate drawings (e.g., highlight or box areas), and classify problems (e.g., safety or delivery issues)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • First Aid / CPR certification
  • Experience in project planning:
  • Breaking down schedules into 3-week look-aheads
  • Using Excel to build mini schedules with construction tasks and understanding critical path and how to track progress

Plusses:

  • OSHA 30-hour certification

Day-to-Day:

An employer in San Antonio is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join their team. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for leading multimillion-dollar projects ranging from $2–5 million, overseeing field operations, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across all phases of construction. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage complex municipal and civil scopes. They will be responsible but not limited to the below -

  • Lead and document all construction activities on field projects
  • Manage jobsite operations and supervise multiple trades
  • Conduct daily safety and progress reports, including photo documentation
  • Use AutoDesk Build and Procore to track issues and annotate plans
  • Coordinate with field engineering to ensure alignment with drawings and specifications
  • Plan and schedule work, including manpower, materials, and equipment
  • Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and track critical path items
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and municipal regulations
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
