Overview
Infosys i s seeking a Principal SAP Basis Consultant. This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose, and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Base pay Base pay range : $106,172.00/yr - $184,155.00/yr
Location & travel Location: Foster City, CA. The role may require travel to project/client locations. All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Contribute to different phases of the consulting lifecycle with a focus on SAP BASIS solutions.
Define problems, propose solutions, and participate in development, configuration, and deployment of end-to-end solutions.
Guide project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building.
Help detail project scope and shape value-adding consulting solutions for clients.
Collaborate with Business Solution Architects to promote standard, out-of-box solutions where appropriate.
Ensure solutions are built, tested, and properly transitioned to production and operations.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be substituted for each year of education.
At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
Location: Foster City, CA. Travel to client locations may be required.

Preferred qualifications:
Hands-on experience as a SAP BASIS consultant, with built and run SAP environments on-premises and in the cloud.
Ability to understand latest SAP technical solutions and deploy scalable, performance-oriented solutions.
Strong networking knowledge to manage SAP environments in DMZ and ensure secure delivery.
Experience delivering ERP technical requirements and ensuring proper project scoping.
Experience leading technical teams, governance, and large-scale SAP S/4HANA / HANA implementations.
Experience with SAP landscapes including HANA, OSDB migrations, Central Finance, Ariba, and C/4HANA.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage cross-functional, multinational projects.
