DCSS also administers several outreach programs to include but not limited to Fatherhood, Prison Re-Entry and Parental Accountability Court. All of these outreach initiatives are devoted to increasing non-custodial parental involvement in the child's life.

Job Description

Pay Grade: F

Under general supervision, communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence and direct contact to ensure that support obligations are met.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Communicates Child Support obligations and communicates necessary information to ensure obligations are met. Communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence, and direct contact. Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations. Obtains and documents detailed information. Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Core Competencies: Home based technology that is equipped with a Windows based operating system and high speed internet access in order to receive the agency's software applications required for candidates approved to telework. Compliance with State of GA teleworking policy requirements. Excellent oral, written, analytical, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment. Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma/GED

AND

Two (2) years of direct job-related experience. OR

One (1) year of experience at the lower level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 1 (SST090) or position equivalent. Preferred Skills/Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience: High school diploma/GED

AND Two (2) years of call center experience
