CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Utility Partners is looking for a
Customer Service Representative
in the North Houston, TX area.
THE POSITION
The
Customer Service Representative
will be under the direct supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor. This job requires knowledge in several areas including: utility billing, customer service, data processing concepts, computer systems and applications related to MS Office and analytical skills. Depth of knowledge must be sufficient to propose viable solutions to service issues. This position is located in the
North Houston
area of Texas .
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist customers on a daily basis either in person, through the internet, or over the telephone.
• Engage in all functions related to monthly utility billing using, including data entry and editing system-generated reports for accuracy.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, process past due notices, process billing and fines as related to utility billing.
• Coordinate with meter readers and field personnel to maintain status of account activities and compliance issues.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
• Fluency in Spanish
• Minimum required high school diploma or equivalent.
• Utility experience preferred but not required
• Analytical skills
• Basic computer knowledge
CONDITIONS:
Overall compensation includes:
