LHH is partnering with a company that is looking for a temporary Accountant to help cover for an employee leave. This role will last around five months and can be hybrid after training. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of accounting experience and have previously worked on NetSuite. You will handle bank reconciliations, month end close tasks, and audit preparation. The manager is looking for someone to start immediately so the interview process will be quick.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data integration.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Five or more years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in NetSuite (required).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Employment Details
  • Temporary for five months.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Hybrid after training in Seattle, WA.
Pay Details: $33.00 to $37.00 per hour
