Overview

Hooters Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our accounting and operations team in the retail grocery division. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and financial processing skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Code and process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) coding and processing, including managing payment disputes with customers and securing required backup documentation
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and commissions according to internal procedures
  • Assist with customer and vendor portal transactions and resolve issues as needed
  • Work with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) platforms to ensure smooth and accurate invoice processing
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is complete and organized
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with AP/AR processing, purchase orders, invoice, and commission processing preferred
  • Experience working in customer/vendor portals and familiarity with EDI systems strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and general accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Additional Details

  • This is a part-time position, 20–25 hours per week
  • Reports to: VP of Operations, Hooters Foods
