Starting Compensation: 23.00 - 25.00 USD Per Hour
Working Location: Compton, CA
Working Hours/Shift: Mon - Fri: 9 AM - 5 PM

What you bring to SBHG
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a Mental Health/Human Services Field, or
- Associates Degree in a Mental Health/Human Services Field, or
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree: One (1) year Administrative, Quality Assurance, or Medical Records experience required, without Bachelor’s Degree.
- Associates Degree: Two (2) years Administrative, Quality Assurance, or Medical Records experience required, without Bachelor’s Degree.
- High School Diploma or equivalency: Three (3) years Administrative, Quality Assurance, or Medical Records experience required, without Bachelor’s Degree.
- One (1) year mental health experience preferred.
License or Certification
- Valid California Driver’s License.
How you will make a difference
The Administrative Program Assistant primarily has responsibility of handling the intake process for TEAMMATES program referrals and all self-referrals. The Administrative Program Assistant acts as a liaison with external agencies and County representatives. The Administrative Program Assistant will assist other Directors, Supervisors, Coordinators and teams to ensure best practices and ensures conformity with Medi-Cal, Los Angeles County, and internal standards and policies. He/she will coordinate all IT and EMR processes and provides secretarial support for the Administrator and Administrative Services Director. Prepares agendas and various computerized and non-computerized reports. Interacts with staff members, physicians, outside agencies and the public. Processes billing for expenditures related to trainings, service delivery, etc. for community partners. Accuracy and timeliness are essential as they may affect legal and economic liability to the organization.

- Community-Based and Family Centered programs.
- TEAMMATES offers Wraparound, Intensive Field Capable Clinical Services (IFCCS) and IFCCS Outreach Triage Team and Child Outreach Triage Team services that cover a full range of treatment and support.
- 24 hours of referral receipt, and services are delivered countywide by the same team
- 24-hour Crisis Intervention
- SED Children and Adolescent driven program.
- Client and Family driven program with mutually agreed by service provider and family.
- Contract with DMH and Child Protected Services and Probation.

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 22.78 - 36.46. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
