Overview

Data Analyst 3 — $50.00-$55.00/hr, onsite at Atlanta Technology Center. Hours: 10am-6pm; Work From Home Fridays.

Data Analyst - Expert: Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and to cross-functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using reporting tools.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area; familiarity with standard concepts, practices, procedures within the field is recommended.

Responsibilities

Database Access & Management

  • Query and manage data from Snowflake, SQL Server, and other relational databases.
  • Integrate data from sources such as ServiceNow, SCCM, Jamf and Wiz into centralized views for analysis.
  • Maintain and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct exploratory and statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or other similar tools.
  • Automate recurring reports and ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.

Tool Integration & Governance

  • Collaborate with platform owners to ensure accurate data ingestion to and from Snowflake, ServiceNow, SCCM, Jamf and Wiz.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between system records (e.g., unauthorized software installations) and entitlement data.
  • Support audits and compliance initiatives by producing validated reports and other documentation.

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Provide guidance & direction regarding analytical approaches & methodologies.
  • Provide technical expertise & advice regarding analytical approaches & methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within existing processes/procedures/systems/applications/tools/technologies/products/services/business models/etc., and recommend solutions accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws/regulations/policies/procedures/guidelines, and ensure adherence thereto by team members supervised by this role holder.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing/presentations with all levels within/outside organization/customers/vendors/stakeholders, building strong relationships.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, data dictionaries, and other system documentation.
  • Work cross-functionally with IT, asset management, and governance teams to align data strategies.
  • Participate in meetings and reviews to present findings and support strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required for this role
  • 5+ years’ experience in a data analyst role (or similar)
