Overview

A leading hospitality group is urgently seeking a Senior Accountant with extensive experience in standalone restaurant operations. This role requires a strong financial foundation, hands-on expertise with software implementation and integrations, and the ability to produce precise financial reporting for a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Set up and manage financial software systems, including integrations with POS and operational platforms
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and analyze P&l statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports to provide clear insights to leadership
• Manage monthly closing processes and reconciliation of accounts
• Implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure efficiency
• Collaborate with operations and senior leadership to provide financial insights that support business decision-making
• Ensure timely submission of tax filings, audits, and external reporting requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant in standalone restaurant groups or hospitality operations
• Strong technical skills with financial software setup, system integrations, and accounting platforms
• In-depth understanding of P&l statements, financial reporting, and forecasting
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders
• CPA certification preferred but not required
