Overview

Sportradar is the global leader in leveraging the power of sports data to enhance media solutions, power sportsbook operations, and protect sports integrity. Sportradar is seeking a high-performing Staff Accountant to support its growing US business.

This role supports the US accounting activities of the organization. The candidate should have knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS principles and a solid background in Sarbanes-Oxley.

The role is based in Minneapolis or New York City, with some US and international travel required.

The Challenge

  • Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Proactive P&L analysis and cost control
  • Provide technical expertise regarding accounting transactions
  • Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with Sportradar internal control policies
  • Support the annual audit process including walkthroughs and evidence gathering for external auditors and the group accounting department
  • Assist with various ad-hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus
  • 2–3 years of increasing accounting experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics

  • Establishes trust—treats people fairly, acts with consistency, and accepts responsibility for mistakes

Recruitment Process

  • Initial Screening: A quick chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner to understand your background and expectations
  • Two Technical Interviews: Meet with the Technical team and Hiring Manager to discuss your solution and team fit
  • Onsite Interview: Meet with the local team and tour the local office
  • Final Steps: Receive feedback and, if successful, an offer

Pay Range

$70,000 – $80,000

Additional Information

Sportradar intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. Base pay is one component of total rewards that Sportradar provides. Benefits include a comprehensive package, performance bonus program, equity stock purchase, and 401k contributions.
