Senior Accountant – CPA Firm (Dallas, TX)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic CPA firm in the heart of Dallas. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a client-facing environment and are passionate about delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and audit documentation for clients across various industries.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Support junior staff through mentorship and technical guidance.
• Communicate directly with clients to resolve accounting issues and provide strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, and/or other accounting platforms.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
• Continuing education and CPA license support.
• Health, dental, and retirement plans.
