Overview

Cart Delivery Driver role at Waste Connections of New York. Location: Elkhart, IN. This position is described as a safety-conscious container delivery driver responsible for driving a Container Delivery Truck to pick up large garbage containers and deliver them to the appropriate locations. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 10-hour days.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Container Delivery Truck to pick up large garbage containers and deliver them to designated locations.
• Provide safe, reliable delivery and service; maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; perform physical tasks as required.
• Collaborate with team and provide strong customer service.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record
• Chauffeur license or for-hire endorsement required
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; capable of performing physical tasks
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills
