Overview

We are seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our team. This role provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks that support the effective and efficient operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate staff
  • Answering the phone and appropriately routing calls
  • Scheduling and confirming new and returning patient appointments
  • Minimizing cancellations and empty appointment slots
  • Collecting co-payments at time of service and collecting patient insurance and privacy forms
  • Compiling and recording medical charts, reports and correspondence
  • Educating patients about their insurance and how physical therapy treatment plans work
  • Assisting with physical therapy aide duties, when applicable

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Prior medical office or customer service experience preferred
