Job Description
- Handling all aspects of employee relations including disputes, corrective actions, and HR investigations.
- Handle employer relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Coordinate new employee onboarding activities to ensure a smooth organizational transition.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and resolving HR-related issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Analyze situations and identify and forecast pertinent problems.
- Evaluate realistic options to recommend/implement an appropriate course of action.
- Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on performance-related matters.
- Identify training needs and collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver training programs.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making.
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and ensure the organization's compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles focusing on general responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Dependable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience within Manufacturing or Industrial environments.
- Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.
- Ability to understand, evaluate, and make judgments on the proposals.
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing, and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Worker's Compensation, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
- PHR certification/SHRM certification.
