Your Role & Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements across multiple projects
- Coordinate meetings and facilitate stakeholder discussions to drive clarity and alignment
- Support ULC governance processes and ensure compliance with project standards
- Collaborate with QA test leads to map requirements to design capabilities and test cases
- Use tools like Excel and Jira to manage documentation, workflows, and traceability
- Work on two concurrent projects, including initiatives like gas transaction system replacement and SPP Market Plus
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large, matrixed corporate environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Jira
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive progress independently
- Experience with waterfall-based projects and commercial off-the-shelf software implementations
- Fast learner with a proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in the utility sector (gas, transmission, distribution, renewables)
- Exposure to cloud migrations from on-premises software
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and QA coordination
Education & Certifications You Need
- No specific certifications required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred
