Job Position
Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include: Participation in component and data architecture design, Performance monitoring, Product evaluation, Buy vs. build recommendations. Has experience in systems analysis, design, and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills Required: Full stack developer and SQL developer skills, Full proficiency in: C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MVC, SQL Development, Other technologies as identified by the development manager, Design and develop REST API services by creating Controllers, Service Interfaces, and Interface implementations, Proficiency using SQL database including: SSIS, Azure Data Factory in Azure Cloud, Create: Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, Functions, T-SQL, Indexes, Cursors, Performance Tuning, SQL Profiler, Complex SQL queries, Participate in ongoing development and support of existing production systems, Provide technical mentoring for team members, Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency, Research, evaluate, and recommend new Internet tools and applications, Ability to work independently, Develop automated tests for regression and unit testing, Solid written and verbal communication skills. Skills Preferred: Knowledge of IIS Administration, Multiple JavaScript Frameworks, IBM SoftwareAG webMethods, InRules, SSRS, MS Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps. Experience Required: 5 years' experience with extensive knowledge of Agile process development in .NET with SQL, Hands-on experience with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle, Ability to document code developed by analyst, Experience with project development methodology and practical application, 5 years of experience creating: Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, Functions, T-SQL, Indexes, Performance Tunning, SQL Profiler, Complex SQL queries. Experience Preferred: 7 years' experience with extensive knowledge of Agile Process Development, Experience with: State Government, Medicaid, CHIP, DHR business area or health care industry. Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience. Additional Information: Candidate will work 100% onsite in Montgomery, AL. No remote work will be considered at this time. Submittals must be of submitting vendor. Submitting vendor can use only one (1) level of sub-vendor candidates for submittal if necessary. This position has the possibility of converting to merit. Position does not offer sponsorship. This assignment is currently budgeted through FY 2025 and will likely be extended into FY 2026. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
