Territory Business Manager - Phoenix, AZ The Territory Business Manager (TBM) will report to the Regional Business Director and educate targeted customers in the launch of LUMRYZ for narcolepsy. The TBM acts as the Avadel face to healthcare professionals and others, conducting conversations with HCPs per approved marketing materials to support and grow appropriate use of Avadel products. All duties are completed in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the industry.

Position Summary The Territory Business Manager will educate all targeted customers in the launch of LUMRYZ for people living with narcolepsy. As the face of Avadel to customers, s/he will engage in impactful dialogue with healthcare professionals to support and grow the appropriate use of Avadel products.

Responsibilities

Develops and grows business relationships with targeted customers within the assigned geography.

Develops a detailed local market business plan focused on strategic growth opportunities, including tactical plans and a measurement system to capture results and insights.

Utilizes the Customer Engagement Model and resources to educate HCPs and staff on Avadel products to grow LUMRYZ market share.

Understands and manages the patient journey using available resources (e.g., Field Reimbursement Managers, National Account Directors, Nurse Care Navigators) to help offices navigate prescription to insurance criteria and patient access.

Uses pre-call planning, account management, and consultative selling skills, along with clinical expertise, to build advocacy for LUMRYZ.

Analyzes qualitative and quantitative market data to identify opportunities and priorities, including reimbursement trends and hub services insights.

Builds compliant cross-functional relationships with MSL, Managed Markets and Reimbursement teams to deliver high-quality service to physicians, healthcare professionals and patients.

Maintains independence and professional conduct in compliance with Avadel’s Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Passion for serving patients and helping build the company

5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience

Experience in Specialty markets required; Rare Disease preferred

Proven track record of successful sales performance

Excellent communication skills, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration

Ability to travel up to 80% (overnight/weekend travel may be required)

Current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Must live in the geography or within 25 miles of key targeted customers

Credentialing requirements may apply; vaccinations (e.g., influenza, COVID-19) may be required for certain roles
