The Territory Business Manager (TBM) reports to the Regional Business Director and is responsible for educating all targeted customers in the launch of LUMRYZ for people living with narcolepsy. As the face of Avadel to customers, the TBM will engage in impactful dialogue with healthcare professionals (HCPs) using approved marketing materials to support and grow appropriate product use. All duties are performed in compliance with governing regulations and Avadel’s Code of Conduct and Ethics. Responsibilities
Develop and grow business relationships with targeted customers within the assigned geography. Develop a detailed local market business plan focusing on strategic growth opportunities, including tactical plans and a measurement system to capture results and insights. Utilize the Customer Engagement Model and available resources to educate HCPs and staff on Avadel products to grow LUMRYZ market share. Understand and assist patients through the journey using resources such as Field Reimbursement Managers, National Account Directors, and Nurse Care Navigators to help offices navigate prescription to insurance criteria and product access. Apply pre-call planning, account management, and consultative selling skills, along with clinical expertise, to enhance the business and build advocacy for LUMRYZ. Analyze market data to identify opportunities and priorities, including reimbursement trends and hub services insights. Build compliant cross-functional relationships with MSL, Managed Markets, and Reimbursement teams to deliver high-quality service to physicians, HCPs, and patients. Operate with independence and professionalism, adhering to Avadel’s Code of Conduct and Ethics. Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree Passion for serving patients and helping build a company 3+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience Experience in Specialty markets is desirable; Rare Disease not required Demonstrated and consistent track record of successful sales performance Excellent communication skills, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration Ability to travel up to 80% (overnight/weekend travel may be required) Current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to reside in the geography or within 25 miles of key targeted customers Credentialing requirements for certain customers/HCPs may apply (e.g., vaccinations).
