About the Role

The

Senior Account Manager

will serve as a strategic partner to clients and lead social and digital creative workflows that drive business outcomes for specific audiences and business segments. Your day will be spent understanding the objective of our creative efforts, and working with strategy and creative teams to match those efforts with the right creative solutions. You will build relationships with partnering brand manager clients, championing the work, and driving learnings and business growth through each project. Prior digital creative client-facing experience is a must. Responsibilities

Partner with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions from campaign inception through completion Serve as a strategic advisor to middle and senior-level client stakeholders Help lead the brand, clients and integrated team across multiple integrated touch points Prepare creative briefs and client presentations with minimal supervision; lead client calls with confidence and maintain control of the conversation Build a positive working relationship with partner agencies active on the business Provide proactive recommendations and insights to clients on best practices, digital-first approaches, and emerging opportunities in digital Develop strong cross-functional relationships with both our clients and counterparts on the Creative, Strategy, Production and Media teams Be intimately familiar with the client’s brand, product, market conditions and competitors; share intel and relevant materials with your teams Immerse yourself in the essential dynamics, strategies, and drivers of your client’s business and industry Champion the agency perspective convincingly with clients and articulate ideas clearly Demonstrate passion for the agency, the work and the client’s business Lead all productions within your area of responsibility; participate in productions and support Creative and Production teams Ensure all work is accurate, reflects client comments, meets brand standards and is on strategy Manage client budgets within the agency Stay on top of all aspects of a project and communicate status, timing and budget implications About You

The essentials:

6+ years of account management experience in marketing, advertising or a digital agency Strong interpersonal skills to foster client relationships Ability to head off potential conflicts and problem-solve effectively Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced agency environment Ability to build and refine processes that strengthen client service Model strong client management, communication, and strategic thinking; guide junior account managers Ability to work independently and take on assignments readily Desire to maintain and improve personal knowledge Adaptable and able to change course when necessary Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Professional and positive attitude Ability to juggle and lead multiple assignments and projects Experience as a direct liaison between brand marketers and the agency Ability to communicate feedback clearly and succinctly #LI-Hybrid Equal Opportunity : Monks is an equal opportunity employer.
