Overview

Client seeks a Dedicated Physician to serve as the Medical Director for its employee clinic. The Physician will be the primary clinical provider and administrative lead, ensuring delivery of high-quality occupational health services in compliance with OSHA, ADA, DOT, HIPAA, Colorado Medical Board, and other applicable regulations. This role includes oversight of a physician assistant, clinic operations, workplace health exams, drug testing review, and emergency consultations. Location

Contract • 3 Years Responsibilities

Medical Leadership & Oversight Act as Medical Director of Denver Water's on-site clinic Provide clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and strategic guidance Supervise and collaborate with the clinic's Physician Assistant per Colorado regulations Ensure alignment with federal/state laws and internal policies On-site Clinic Services Conduct 1-2 weekly on-site visits (minimum 8 hours/week) Perform exams for post-offer physicals, fitness for duty, CDL (DOT) compliance, OSHA-required surveillance Respond to on-site injuries or acute care needs Provide alternate coverage if unavailable Off-site & Emergency Support Be accessible for consultations during and outside business hours Provide off-site care when requested Handle 1-2 emergency consultations/month after hours Medical Review Officer (MRO) Responsibilities Serve as or designate an MRO Review and evaluate results from drug testing programs Work with Denver Water's lab provider (CRL) Documentation & Reporting Submit written reports within 15 days of each patient visit Utilize Cority for health records Complete all necessary forms for Workers' Compensation and insurance May testify on behalf of Denver Water as needed Compliance & Credentialing Follow all applicable guidelines: OSHA, DOT, ADA, HIPAA, ACOEM, Colorado Medical Board, etc. Maintain all required certifications and licenses Minimum Qualifications

MD or DO licensed in Colorado DEA license National Provider Identifier (NPI) Level II Accreditation (CDLE) for Worker's Comp treatment NRCME Certification for DOT/CDL exams Minimum 3-5 years' experience in occupational medicine, primary care, or urgent care Strong understanding of Workers' Compensation, ADA, and OSHA guidelines Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as Medical Director or clinical leader in an occupational health setting Familiarity with Cority or similar electronic health record systems Ability to respond quickly to consults and coordinate across departments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Schedule & Availability

Minimum 8 hours/week on-site, plus telehealth & on-call coverage Must be reachable for after-hours emergency consultation (avg. 1-2/month) Flexibility required for schedule adjustments based on patient volume and holiday closures
