Our firm is known statewide for aggressively advocating on behalf of injured clients in high-stakes cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, auto accidents, premises liability, and other serious personal injury matters. Led by acclaimed trial attorney Carney Shegerian, we offer attorneys the opportunity to gain early, meaningful litigation experience in significant personal injury cases. This is not a back-office role—this is your chance to step into the courtroom and litigate. What We Offer: Immediate hands-on litigation experience Regular courtroom appearances Autonomy over your own caseload Supportive, mission-driven in-office culture Competitive compensation + full benefits Compensation & Benefits: Competitive Base Salary: $145,000–$155,000 annually, commensurate with experience Performance-Based Commission: Earn up to 5.50% commission Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – Full coverage plan options $500 Annual FSA Contribution – Provided by the firm to help cover eligible out-of-pocket healthcare expenses Industry-Leading 401(k) Plan – 3% Safe Harbor + 7% Profit Sharing Contribution for eligible employees Ongoing Legal Workshops – Regular in-house sessions to strengthen litigation skills Hands-On Mentorship – One-on-one guidance and case strategy support from senior trial lawyers Bar dues paid by the Firm MCLE Allowance Key Responsibilities: Manage your own docket of personal injury cases from intake through trial Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients Engage with clients to guide them through the litigation process and shape case strategy Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair where applicable Qualifications: Active member in good standing with the California State Bar 1 year+ of litigation experience (personal injury or plaintiff-side trial experience strongly preferred) Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines Desire to grow as a trial lawyer and litigator Trial or trial-prep experience is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $145, $155,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Experience: Personal injury law: 1 year (Preferred) Deposition : 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90049
