Key Responsibilities
Manage a personal injury caseload from initial intake through settlement.
Conduct new client onboarding, including sending welcome packets, collecting documentation, and opening files in Clio.
Draft, file, and manage legal correspondence, discovery requests, and settlement demands.
Organize and maintain digital and physical case files to ensure compliance with firm protocols.
Understanding of ERISA
Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
Track medical treatment progress, request and organize medical records/bills, and prepare settlement demand packages.
Negotiate settlements under attorney supervision and prepare disbursement statements.
Ensure deadlines are met, including statutes of limitations, court dates, and filing requirements.
Use Clio proficiently for scheduling, document management, and case tracking.
Coordinate with attorneys to prepare cases for litigation when necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in personal injury case management or as a PI paralegal.
Proficiency with Clio case management software (required).
Strong understanding of the entire PI process from intake to settlement.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience drafting settlement demands and communicating with insurance adjusters.
Notary Public (preferred, but not required).

Pay: $48, $57,903.82 per year
