On-Site Property Manager

Resident Manager needed for 20 Unit apartment complex in Castro Valley. This position will be a part time position, with a maximum of 12 hours per week. Chosen candidate will be required to live on site in a 1 bedroom/ 1 bath apartment (1/3 of market rent) Responsibilities Include: Assume overall responsibility to ensure the apartment community is clean, friendly, and a comfortable place for people to live Show vacant units to prospective tenants Direct future tenants to apply online via Utopia's website Submitting maintenance requests for common area concerns Enforcement of apartment community rules and regulations Assist the Regional Manager in all areas as requested Walk entire property daily to be sure the common areas, landscaping, laundry, etc. (as applicable) are in good, clean condition Cleaning of common areas i.e. laundry rooms, pool area, parking lot, dumpster area, walkways, and mail room Minimum requirements: Proficient in Microsoft office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to carefully follow written and, or verbal directions and procedures with little guidance 2 years Customer Service Experience Previous leasing experience is a plus Previous property management experience a plus Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
