Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance and care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Duties:
- Mow lawns and maintain the overall appearance of landscapes
- Perform snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Provide general lawn care, including watering, fertilizing, and weed control
- Dig and build landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls
- Assist with tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Maintain gardens by planting, weeding, and mulching
- Irrigate landscapes to ensure proper hydration for plants
- Utilize hand tools and power equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning Skills:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of mowing techniques and lawn care practices
- Familiarity with snow plowing procedures and equipment
- Ability to dig, build, and install landscape features
- Basic understanding of tree care principles and practices
- Proficiency in garden maintenance tasks such as planting and weeding
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their operation
- Competence in using hand tools commonly used in landscaping
