Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our grounds and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for various tasks related to groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, and general upkeep of outdoor areas. Duties Perform regular maintenance tasks on lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas to ensure they remain healthy and visually appealing. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and grass. Conduct seasonal landscape maintenance activities including planting, fertilizing, weeding, and mulching. Monitor the condition of plants and landscapes, identifying any issues that require attention or repair. Maintain cleanliness of all groundskeeping equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order. Collaborate with other team members to complete larger landscaping projects as needed. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscape maintenance. Knowledge of groundskeeping practices including lawn care techniques, irrigation methods, and plant care. Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality in all work performed. Good organizational skills to manage time effectively while completing multiple tasks. A willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills related to landscape maintenance.
