Class A CDL Driver

Overview Please note that we do not pay by mile. The system won't allow me to input that we pay by percentage. We are also interested in out of state drivers. 25% gross for a new driver and 30% gross for experienced driver. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires proficiency in operating different Semi Truck with 53ft Trailer, while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all regulations. Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of goods. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while complying with traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that arise on the road. Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading when necessary. Handle specialized vehicles such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks as required. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Experience with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving is required.
