We’re seeking a forward-thinking SAP professional to join our Technical Consulting team. Collaborating with external clients and internal teams, you will use your strong proficiency in SAP technology to help clients achieve improved outcomes and lasting results. Harnessing our expertise in tax, assurance, transaction and risk, and by utilizing your capabilities to implement SAP, you will pave the way for innovative solutions. As a Senior Technology Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will interact with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that implemented technology solutions meet their needs. You will collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver effective system architecture solutions. Responsibilities
Interact with business stakeholders to evaluate business models and processes. Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements. Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions. Strategically design and prototype SAP QM (Quality Management) solutions, leading discussions on functionality to support informed decision-making. Conduct comprehensive system demonstrations to highlight SAP’s standard capabilities, gain stakeholder acceptance, and identify any functional discrepancies or client needs. Interpret and convert local business needs into corresponding system configurations, ensuring SAP setups align with client objectives. Develop detailed functional specifications that communicate business requirements to bridge with SAP capabilities. Interface with developers to translate functional specifications into technical designs. Perform field and value mappings for data conversion efforts. Demonstrate the system’s new features and improvements after configuration and development. Provide support and subject matter expertise during testing activities and resolve issues identified during testing. Develop training materials and deliver end-user training or train-the-trainer sessions. Provide essential post go-live support to ensure uninterrupted business operations. Exhibit deep technical proficiency and understanding of business processes to contribute to project success. Coordinate across teams on integration points to ensure seamless alignment across system components. Skills and Attributes for Success
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities; proficiency in defining technology business requirements and analysis; experience in system configuration design and cost-benefit analysis; ability to manage client relationships and communicate with impact. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree. Typically 2 - 4 years of relevant experience with SAP ERP systems, with a focus on Quality Management modules. Strong technical skills in application functional design. Expertise in business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping. Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%. Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience. SAP certification(s). Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of your core module. What We Look For
